Accurate and timely yield estimates can help farmers make informed decisions about planting, fertilization, irrigation, and harvest timing. Remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS) are powerful tools that can be used to estimate crop yields with a high degree of accuracy. One of the most commonly used indices in remote sensing for crop yield estimation is the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). we will explore the use of NDVI in conjunction with remote sensing and GIS to estimate crop yields.
Remote sensing is the process of collecting and analyzing data about the earth's surface using sensors mounted on aircraft or satellites. These sensors can detect and measure various characteristics of the earth's surface, such as temperature, humidity, and vegetation cover. NDVI is a commonly used index in remote sensing that measures the amount of vegetation cover in an area. NDVI is calculated by taking the difference between the near-infrared and red bands of a multispectral image and dividing that difference by the sum of the near-infrared and red bands. NDVI values range from -1 to 1, with higher values indicating more vegetation cover.
GIS is a collection of software and data that can be used to analyze, visualize, and manage geographic data. GIS can be used to analyze remote sensing data, such as NDVI images, to estimate crop yields.By developing a regression model on NDVI and crop yield. GIS can also be used to create maps that show crop yields across an entire region, making it easier to identify areas that may need additional resources or attention.
ArcGIS is a popular GIS software that can be used to analyze remote sensing data and estimate crop yields. It can be used to process NDVI images and create maps that show crop yields across an entire region. The software also has a wide range of tools that can be used to analyze and manipulate spatial data, making it an ideal tool for crop yield estimation.
Model development required a number of tools and logic to use together.

Detailed step-by-step tutorial is available on this link

Tutorial Highlights :

Use Machine learning method for crop classification in ArcGIS, separate crops from natural vegetation

The model was developed using the minimum observed data available online

Crop NDVI separation

Crop Yield model development

Crop production calculation from GIS model data

Identify the low and high-yield zones and area calculation

Calculate the total production of the region

Validation of developed model on another study area

Validate production and yield of other areas using a developed model of another area

Convert the model to the ArcGIS toolbox

Lakhwinder Singhhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07402891848750832783noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4598296330877395884.post-81319010689694948122022-12-31T22:53:00.004+05:302022-12-31T22:53:37.144+05:30GIS Udemy Tutorial Coupon codes 2023
ArcSWAT: Covers hydrological simulations and weather data

That can be possible by getting fitted catchment parameters. Two approaches are available for calibration and validation. One is to use the whole observed at as calibration and second is to split data for validation. Both use almost the same methodology. The objective is to obtain fitted parameters. SWAT CUP does the calibration validation of the whole series. So both scientific concepts are explained theoretically and practically. But the whole data series concept is used by most of the researchers so its explained first, then data split validation concept is explained. So, this is to you which concept you want to use. Writing parameters to the SWAT model is also covered and the calibrated model was run in the course. Mathematics behind the task is a little complex so I suggest downloading a few research papers similar to your study to explain that equations. Such as R Square, NSE, PBIAS, RSR. These all statistics calculated in SWAT Cup.

This is the complete Scientific Course.

Link to Course: https://www.udemy.com/course/swat-cup-calibration-validation-and-write-values-to-arcswat/?couponCode=SWATCUP

Lakhwinder Singhhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07402891848750832783noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4598296330877395884.post-65220285988837167522020-09-14T16:51:00.001+05:302020-09-14T16:51:18.216+05:30Udemy Advance GIS Courses Discounted coupon links.
Just click on Links to Get
Here are point that we missed while purchase.

Your laptop processor may be fast but not the hard disk

You get 16gb Ram but ts slow speed,

HDD response rate is slow

Laptop without SSD.

Having wifi but not 802.11ac , later you get slow internet on fiber connection.

Having HD screen 1080, but lower contrast ratio.

So this configuration seem to high but at end you will get low speed laptop, Because processor will slow down if Hard drive is slow.

So, Here is laptop with faster SSD Drive which read data upto 3gbps and write also 3gbps. It has faster ram then traditional ram, It has 2 Hard drive, One for C drive and other for Other works, This make it faster then your thinking, I will boot in just 5 seconds. SO have A look on this.

Estimation of Groundwater potential zone using GIS is and very easy work. Even Just basic knowledge of GIS is Required. You Just need to know to concept how it works and how to take that work from form GIS data. Groundwater Potential zone is just an estimate of possible location of water availability. But it does not tell the water depth. But if you want to know monitor changes in water depth in this case you need to work with actual data and plot that data in GIS. You can also calculate water level changes and location by using GIS if you have observation data. Groundwater Required few layers like Land Use, Rainfall, Soil, Drainage density, DEM, Even number of layers is not limited you can use any number of layer as per information available, like Geomorphology also. This project is sometime given to Master of PhD students. But actually this is work of Just one day if you have good internet connection and ability to work Just 8 hrs continuous. Only write up will take time. So here is step by step Video tutorial is available for this project. It covers from data downloading to final results, Even the same tutorial covers Drought and Flood risk zone also, because it use same data. High Quality GIS contents are not free, But too cheap also as 10$. If you learn GIS offline this will cost you thousand of dollars and at last you not have single video of course. You purely depend on you notebook. But if everything is available in video you can do it better, watch any step anytime rewind it. So All reading this post have access to this course using special link. Below this post.

You Just know basic of GIS. Let's Think how urban area will grow.
Growth Depends on Some factors as:

Distance between two cities

Distance from Roads

Elevation of City

Near to outer area of city

Trend of change from Agriculture to Urban, or Forest to Urban

The actual landuse

Rate of change

We can predict future landuse in two ways, Using Regression model or By CA Markov Method with Machine learning approach to solve complex problems.

So CA Markov is best to predict with MLP and Neural Network approach. This way we train our model with 50% learning and 50% testing approach. But any learning accuracy between 40% to 70% will provide accurate results. It depends upon how we are getting output results. Each time after modification check results by comparing to real landuse if it matches at least 70% then continue to predict for future. All task are too easy some work need to do in ArcGIS and some in Terrset Model. Both are NOT open source.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">This is first landuse landcover course on udemy the most demanding topic in GIS, In this course I covered from data download to final results. I used ERDAS, ArcGIS and ENVI. I explained all possible methods of land use classification. More then landuse Pre Procession of images are covered after dowanload and after classification, how to correct error pixels are also covered, So after learning here you no need to ask anyone about lanudse classification. I explained theoretical concept also during processing of data. I have covered supervised, unsupevised, combined method, pixel correction methods etc. For in depth of all methods enroll in this course.
